Half Marathon
So I have finally done it. Stan & I are going to run a half marathon in September. Now you may be thinking we are crazy, but what better way to get back in shape. This way, I have the motivation to run because I have a goal to reach. Yes, I know when you workout you should always have a goal. But it is just so hard to be motivated sometimes. Both of us have been running for almost 2 months just to get ourselves ready for the actually training. And that starts today. So I will try my hardest to keep you updated on my/our progress as the weeks do on. 11 weeks till race day, September 13.
Week 1:
Beginning of training-ran 3 miles in about 34 minutes=11.10 a mile. Not the best time, but I am just starting.

Thats amazing. Congratulations on taking the leap. Adam ran one 2 years ago. It takes a lot of hard work and determination. I am thinking of doing it next April. I need to run a mile first though.
