Dr Stan

Yes it is all but official. Stan defended his dissertation and everything has been signed by his committee. So it is just a matter of getting everything to the right people and getting it posted. I am so proud of him and all the hard work he has put into it. It has been a long journey but we made it through.

Blues Games

Last Monday, some good friends of ours invited us to the blues game. The had gotten tickets at an silent auction and the seats where by far the best I have ever had being 6 rows off the ice. See how close we where.

Well on top of the great seats, we also got to go up to the KMOX press box and watch the 3rd period and overtime. Also an awesome experience and once in a lifetime thing.

Thanks Jessie & Bobby.

Happy Birthday Stan

Today is Stan's Birthday...35. Scary I know, but he does not act his age at all. See....

But I love him still and enjoy every day that I get to spend with him.

Happy Birthday Honey.

Holy Thursday Mass

As the Easter season is upon us, I am reminded of what these next days are really about. Not the easter egg hunts, chocolate eggs, or getting to have what we gave up. But it is a reminder of what Jesus lived his life for, to serve others. Mass last night was a this reminder for me. It is probably one of the most powerful masses for me, the washing of the feet and the last supper. Jesus wanted to wash the feet of his disiples and some of them beleived that this act was below him. But he did it anyway. We are reminded of this during the mass when the priests/deacons wash the feet of others. Others were then invited up to have their feet washed and wash the feet of others. What a powerful thing to see. So I am reminded to do things for others and they will do for you.

And then seeing the alter stripped and the blessed sacrament taken from the church and not to return until the easter vigil. A very somber moment and the only mass the does not end with worship & praise.
