Shane & Aubrie Wedding

We went up to Baltimore back in September for my cousin Shane's wedding. They had a gorgeous outside wedding and it was very original and fit them perfectly. I got so many great pictures that it was very difficult to pick the best. So I am sure that you will see many more on my blog as I have to share them. The got married on a military base all the way in the back where there was a small lodge overlooking a lake.

The best man (my cousin) & matron of honor (Aubrie's sister) both had babies about 6 months ago, and they where the ring bearer & flower girl. Brandon carried his daughter and her sister carried her son down the aisle. It was just precious.

As a unique idea, prior to the ceramony flowers were passed out to guests. And then Aubrie walked through the rows to collect the flowers and add to her bouquet.

They exchanged their vows which they wrote overlooking the lake and the beautiful archway that my cousin Shane made.

And then they were husband & wife.

Missourians Day?

So did anyone know that yesterday was Missourians Day? Me either. I am 29 and have lived in Missouri all my life and did not know this till yesterday. Apparantly some lady who was a Missouri native but moved to Oklahoma wanted a day to unite Missourians. It has been around since 1915, that is 94 years. For the full story go here. I think maybe next year I will try and unite fellow Missourians and not go to work. It is a holiday remember. Probably won't work.

Not Me! Monday

One of the blogs that I follow MacMama has Not Me! Monday blog post. This is a time to "admit" to the things that you may never admit to any other time. So here is my first one of probably many. So here goes.

I did not lock myself out of our house after just 1 week while Stan was at work. And I did not have to meet our neighbors for the 1st time to use their phone because of this. And I would never almost flood our basement because our washer was not working right.

I am most certainly not lazy and did not unpack some clothes and throw them in the laundry instead of putting them away. And of course I would never just push boxes into other rooms so that I don't have to look at them or unpack.

So now it is your turn if you want. I have to say it is pretty fun.
