Thankful for...

So I am going to try something for the next couple of weeks. Since Thanksgiving is 2 weeks away, I am going to try and post everyday what I am thankful for. The holidays come around each year and I think sometimes we forget what the true meaning behind those holidays.

So today I am thankful for my husband and our marriage. We have been married for 2 1/2 years and it seems like just yesterday. He is brought out the good in me and shown me to not always take everything too serious. So today I am thankful for Stan.

My husband

So my fun and exciting Monday evening consited of going through my pictures on the computer and deleting the duplicates and putting them in the right folder. So I know what they heck they are and when they are from. So as I was going through the pictures I came across this great picture of my husband. If you know Stan at all, you know he is a complete goofball. This picture trully shows how much of a goofball he is. This was taking last spring at the Festus Intermediate 5th grade talent show. Every year the 5th grade kids are part of a talent show and Stan will usually DJ it as well as put on some type of performance for the kids. This year he managed to convince the rest of the 5th grade class to also perform. Stan has the weird talent of taking a song and changing the words to match the beat. So the teachers created a rock band and sang a special song just for the kids. So here is the band "Toxic Teachers".

So I couldn't find the youtube video of their performance, but here is the 5th grade teachers first with the addition of the rest of the teachers doing a dance revolution. Again, Stan is the one in the acting like a fool and the one in orange on the far left is the principle. I wish I had teachers/principles like this when I was in school.
