Annoying people

Some people just annoy me. Let me explain. We are looking to get a glider/ottoman for the babies room and they are pretty expensive to get from the store. So I have been looking on craigslist. I found on over the weekend from a lady in Wentzville and contacted her on Sunday afternoon. We talked on Monday and was going to go out that night to take a look. I am guessing she is trying to sell her house, because she texted me to say that she had a showing and could not do it. So she then left me a message on Tuesday at 4 saying that she was heading home from work and we could come by that night. So I called her back, left a voice mail and then texted her all before 5:30. She then texts me back around 6 saying that someone else swooped it up already. I was so pissed and had to cool down before responding to her.

So I guess back to looking on craigslist for another one.

Vacation

Okay, I guess I should finally post something about vacation. I am still working on getting all 700 of my pictures uploaded and sort through them. So that might take some time. But vacation was great, awesome and much needed. We took a 7 day cruise to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan & Puerto Vallarta. We do more of the sightseeing & shopping tours, but still got to see some amazing sights. I promise that I will post about each day/port with pictures as well as all the awesome stuff on the ship. Which there were alot. I have cruised before and was amazed at the ship and everything it offered. So more to come later.

Vacation

The day has finally come for our vacation. I can't believe it is finally here, well tomorrow. We are flying out tomorrow morning to LA and then our cruise leaves Sunday. 7 days on a cruise ship going to Western Mexico, sun and pool. Oh and I get to celebrate my birthday on the ship as well. So should be a fun time.

Baby Update

So not much to write about today, but I thought I would update as I could. I have my 20 week appointment on Friday which means that we will have the ultrasound. So excited about that. We are going to find out the sex, but I am going in thinking that we won't be able to find out. That way if they can't tell, I won't be upset about it.
I have started to feel the baby move and it is both the coolest and weirdest feeling. To know that there really is a baby in there, so awesome. If this is any indication, this child is going to be active.
So until Friday or shortly after that. That's all for now.

Happy Anniversary

Today is our 3 year anniversary. Not sure where the time has gone, but it has a been a great time and I look forward to many funny days ahead.

Yes it is all but official. Stan defended his dissertation and everything has been signed by his committee. So it is just a matter of getting everything to the right people and getting it posted. I am so proud of him and all the hard work he has put into it. It has been a long journey but we made it through.

Blues Games

Last Monday, some good friends of ours invited us to the blues game. The had gotten tickets at an silent auction and the seats where by far the best I have ever had being 6 rows off the ice. See how close we where.




Well on top of the great seats, we also got to go up to the KMOX press box and watch the 3rd period and overtime. Also an awesome experience and once in a lifetime thing.
